Job Title: Product Sales Executive (Banking Domain)

Job Summary:

The Product Sales Executive is responsible for driving the sales of the bank's financial products, including personal loans, credit cards, home loans, business banking solutions, and other services. This role involves identifying opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and working closely with various teams to meet sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Target Achievement:

- Meet or exceed sales targets for financial products such as personal loans, home loans, credit cards, insurance, etc.

- Generate leads and convert them into sales by identifying potential customers through various channels (referrals, cold calling, networking, digital marketing).

- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and develop sales strategies accordingly.

- Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

- Conduct face-to-face meetings, calls, and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Product Knowledge:

- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the bank's products, services, and industry trends to effectively educate and engage clients.

- Provide customers with detailed product information and benefits to help them make informed decisions.

- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and industry standards.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

- Work closely with the bank's marketing and operations teams to develop promotional strategies and support product launches.

- Collaborate with underwriting and risk assessment teams to ensure smooth processing of applications.

- Assist in resolving customer issues by liaising with relevant departments.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Sales Expertise: Strong sales background with a proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Product Knowledge: Sound understanding of financial products (loans, credit cards, investment products, etc.) and the banking industry.

- Customer-Focused: Ability to engage with customers and understand their financial needs.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.

- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

- CRM Proficiency: Knowledge of customer relationship management tools or software to track leads and sales.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or any related field (MBA preferred).

- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the banking or financial services domain.

- Certification: Knowledge of financial products and services certifications (e.g., NISM)
