Junior Business Development Executive - SAAS & Subscription Economy (0-2 yrs)
Roles and responsibilities :
- Identify, develop, and implement growth opportunities in existing and new markets.
- Build business relationships with current and potential clients to facilitate usage and retention.
- Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Answer potential client questions, follow up calls, and respond to requests for proposals.
- Make outbound calls to new and potential clients.
- Convert free customers to paid customers through plan upgrades to improve customer lifetime value.
- Generate referrals and positive reviews from clients to create Word of Mouth impact.
- Meet or exceed quotas for calls, appointments, demonstrations, and conversions/upgrades.
- Maintain a pipeline of all leads using CRM software.
- Demonstrate the product to potential customers to assess product-market fit and reduce churn.
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Skills & Experience :
- 0-2 years of experience in US/UK/Canada customer-facing sales/onboarding roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Clear, concise, and effective written and oral communication.
- Product demonstration skills are an advantage.
- Empathy towards customers and understanding their needs.
- Understanding of SAAS & Subscription Economy.
- Learning & growth mindset.
- Comfortable with proactive outreach and handling objections.
- Problem-solving skills and aptitude to improvise, adapt and overcome.
- Articulate with business acumen.
- Metrics, detail-oriented, and strong time-management skills.
- Predominantly night shift working hours.
