Jugmug Thela - Lead - Business Development (2-6 yrs)
Jugmug Thela is looking to rapidly scale it's Packaged F&B products vertical - which includes the critically acclaimed range of Fine Teas, Spices, Handmade Cookies and Hot Chocolate Mixes. The products already enjoy positive and aspirational brand awareness in the target segments. Presently, these products have been a small side project to the much greater focus on Caf- /Pop-ups.
The role for the Business Development Lead is to take that latent potential of the products and create a significant revenue stream with such drive that it grows 2-3x month on month, progressively generating its own marketing budgets from the sales. Bootstrapping, relentlessly.
Business Development Lead will work with the Director and logistics/production team to realise this goal. S/he will be able to recruit staff within their team as soon as the revenue generated thus far and projection justify the salary.
Core Tasks :
- Maintaining positive cash flows while scaling using all available revenue channels.
- Activate Instant/short credit channels (Online sales through company owned and third party platforms.)
- Creating partnerships with commission agents for seasonal gifting range.
- Directly creating a B2B product sale network in the HoReCa segment on short credit / Cash & Carry payment terms.
- Partnering with Modern Retail stores to create high consumer visibility and quick product circulation.
Leadership Roles :
- Progressively creating growth and product strategies based on market insights.
- Ensure Brand values are effectively communicated in all touch points - both internally and externally.
- Represent the company at various fora that help establish credibility and future growth prospects.
