JLL - Business Development Role - Real Estate (1-3 yrs)
POSITION GOALS -
I) Hire will work to strengthen our market leadership position and achieve financial growth.
ii) Work towards short term and long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
iii) Work cohesively with internal stakeholders- like Operations, Procurement, IT, HR and Transition Team.
iv) Increase business development opportunities and thereby increase market share and maximize revenue for their organization.
v) Identify potential new clients, present capability brief and subsequently close business.
vi) Ensure Customer Relationship Management is further enhanced. Meet clients often on solutions and services that meet or foresee their clients- future needs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. New Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities, schedule meetings with potential clients and convert them into wins to increase business.
- Cold call as applicable to ensure a robust pipeline.
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Set up meetings for business closures between decision makers.
- Plan methodologies and pitches. Provide solutions by working with the Operations team.
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop proposals that are aligned to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.
2. Planning:
- Attend industry functions, such as IFMA & CREDAI association events and conferences, and network with prospective customers.
- Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing business footprints.
- Identify opportunities for services / value-adds so as to provide client with an exceptional customer service and operational delivery.
- Using knowledge of market conditions and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
3. Administrative / Back-end support:
- Track progress against plan, forecast deviations in business targets and ensure objectives are met.
- Support and respond to RFPs, RFIs and Pre Qualifications bids as per timelines and guidelines.
- Prepare baseline presentations and commercial proposals as per the need / requirement of project.
- Align proposals / presentations as per company's goal and purpose to ensure continual growth and enhance the company's performance
EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS -
I) Business Development positions require a bachelor's degree and an experience of 2-3 years of sales or marketing experience. An MBA is often requested as well.
ii) Proven ability to function effectively as part of a team / team player.
iii) Persuasive, self-driven, creative and analytical
