- Radiohead Brands is amongst the leaders in India's Cocktail Mixers industry, with 6 products currently on offer under Jimmy's Cocktails Brands. In just over 2 years, Jimmy's Cocktails has established itself as amongst the top choice for consumers in the mixed drinks/cocktails space through finely crafted products that are available across online and offline channels.
- We are looking to hire On-Premises Manager to be based out of Gurgaon office, having 5-8 years- experience in Beverage Industry (Alcohol industry preferred)
Job responsibilities will include :
- On-Premises Manager will be overall responsible for defining the On-Premises strategies resulting in the national business plan. The role requires building a national on-premises team for brand Jimmy's grounds up in close cooperation with our Founding Partners. Optimizes consumption and brand appearance within the targeted-On Premise channels. The manager will be responsible to set the strategic direction that will deliver the largest opportunity for sustained growth within the entire On-Premises channel and continuously drive for maximum quality of accounts- coverage in order to maximize brand image, consumer base, and consumption. The manager will be the leader of the On-Premises Key Accounts, Local On-Premises team members, and our Mixers (bartender as a frontline salesperson) program and is responsible to establish a strong effective relationship with the Brand & Sales Team.
Key Role Requirements :
- Build and maintain a strong and highly effective Jimmy's Cocktails On-Premise team. Lead and coach all future direct reports in a motivational way for increased productivity and engagement.
- Take ownership of the national training plan. Guarantee training and coaching on a benchmark level to ensure continuous development of direct reports so that they stay on the cutting edge.
- Evaluate the skill level of the direct reports on a permanent basis and adjust plans to reach targets.
- Ensure continuous development within the team through proper succession preparation.
- Plan and continuously develop the geographical area and Jimmy's Cocktails On-Premise team structure including resource evaluation and allocation.
- Manage resources such as budget, FOC, and POSM effectively.
- Carry out ongoing analysis of market research, KPI and reporting tool database with an insight into action mentality.
- Develop the national On Premise business plan in close cooperation with Sales Team to meet ambitious company goals in targeted On Premise channels
- Develop and deploy ingenious strategies and guarantee the implementation of the national business plan top-down.
- Set up a proper Mixers route planning to ensure excellence in coverage and execution.
- Constantly evaluate the execution by spending time in the field and by setting up appropriate KPI's.
- Manage all direct reports to drive brand image, consumer base and consumption.
- Know your market like the back of your hand. Spend an appropriate amount of time in the field to stay close to market dynamics, secure and optimize existing execution and maintain sharp look-out for new opportunities - winning them over for Jimmy's Cocktails.
- Use your unique personality to showcase this premium brand and to build effective relationships with our Distribution Partner, strategically important customers and industry contacts.
Areas that play to your strengths :
- Minimum 5 years management experience with a proven track record of driving success
- Strong On Premise industry knowledge and integration in local scene and community (authentic and credible).
- Ability to think and act like an entrepreneur.
- Strategic and innovative commercial awareness and acumen (a strong understanding of sales processes and financial systems).
- Strong planning, prioritization and organizational ability.
- Highly developed analytical skills. Ability to translate data and insights from market research, sales analyses and forecasts into effective sales activation as well as compelling brand-marketing activities in response to changes in the On-Premise environment.
- Social Chameleon. Understands all groups of people, what every type of person has to deal with daily and knows how to act around them. Possesses self-awareness and is able to adapt communication, presentation and professional appearance according to audience and scene.
- Clear understanding of markets, sales and distribution, consumer behavior and competitor activity in FMCG / Alcobev context.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills such as selling, negotiating, training, coaching and active listening.
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently in a high-energy, fast-paced, field-based environment.
- Able and willing to work very flexible hours (including nights and weekends).
- Must be proficient in IOS and MS Office, especially MS Excel.
