Job Description :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager with over 5 years of experience, specializing in the IT segment. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successfully identifying, engaging, and acquiring clients within the IT industry. The candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of IT services and technologies, along with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Roles and Responsibilities :
1. Identify and Research Potential Clients:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients across various industries and segments within the IT sector.
- Analyze industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential market opportunities.
- Utilize platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Clutch, GoodFirms, and more to identify potential leads and projects.
2. Develop and Execute Strategic Outreach Plan :
- Develop and implement a strategic outreach plan to engage with potential clients effectively.
- Utilize a mix of email marketing campaigns, networking, and direct outreach to establish connections with prospective clients.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align objectives and strategies for outreach efforts.
3. Maintain Accurate Records and CRM Management :
- Maintain detailed records of prospecting activities, interactions, and opportunities using CRM tools such as Zoho, Clutch, HubSpot, and others.
- Regularly update CRM databases with relevant information to ensure accuracy and accessibility of client data.
4. Lead Generation and Appointment Setting :
- Generate leads and qualify potential clients to set up appointments for further engagement.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure marketing materials are prepared and aligned with client needs and objectives.
5. Stay Updated on IT Services and Industry Trends :
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in IT services, technologies, and trends.
- Effectively communicate value propositions to prospects based on their specific needs and requirements.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, with a focus on the IT segment.
- Proven success in lead generation and project acquisition through platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Clutch, GoodFirms, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of software testing tools and technologies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-driven and proactive approach to achieving goals and targets.
