Informal credit by the merchant or seller is an expectation for customers and not a value-added service in rural India. Lack of formalized credit poses a dire and imperative challenge for rural businesses to grow. Jai Kisan has leveraged the captive relationship between the business and the farmer and rural individuals in a B2B2C manner to deploy credit to farmers and rural individuals in a sustainable manner working with 700+ organized and unorganized entities in the space with a cumulative customer base of over 1.5 lakh rural individuals including farmers. Jai Kisan has raised $4mn in pre series A (2020) and $30mn in series A funding (2021) led by marquee institutional financial investors (Mirae Asset, Blume and Arkam, amongst others) and strategic investors (Nabard and Syngenta).

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Create Marketing and Branding material for the company including but not limited to - product taglines, digital content, event taglines etc
- Brainstorm brand positioning ideas specific to each region and area that the company serves
- Support the Marketing and Growth team with all planning and content creation activities
- Create convincing digital marketing content across all social media platforms as well as third party websites
- Provide insight through competitive analysis around marketing events, digital content, promotional gifts etc.
- Evaluating and optimizing marketing and pricing strategies.
- Analyzing market trends and preparing forecasts.
- Generating new business leads.
- Increasing brand awareness and market share.
- Developing and managing the marketing department's budget.
- Overseeing branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business administration, or similar.
- A master's degree in a relevant field will be advantageous.
- At least two years' experience as a marketing manager.
- Proficiency in electronic marketing automation software.
- Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
- Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
