Jaarvis - Junior Buyer & Presales Assistant (1-3 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the procurement of hardware, software, and services from various vendors, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Research and evaluate potential suppliers and products, negotiating favourable terms and pricing agreements.
- Building and maintaining positive supplier relationships to strengthen loyalty and reputation.
- Collaborate with our sales team to understand client requirements and assist in preparing pre-sales documentation, proposals, and presentations.
- Provide administrative support for pre-sales activities, including managing documentation, tracking sales leads, and coordinating with internal teams.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.
- Obtain quotes from suppliers for materials.
- Provide the sales team with costings for prospective sales Creating Purchase orders.
- Assisting in office admin when required.
- Light warehouse duties
- Maintain overall oversight of inventory.
- Managing Deliveries
Requirements:
Prior experience in procurement, sales support, or a related role is preferred but not required. Full training will be provided.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high accuracy.
Able to work autonomously and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
