Job Description.
Role : Logistics Manager - Primary Transportation.
Experience: 6 - 14 Years
Work Location: Bengaluru/Bangalore.
Requirement :
- Maintaining and furthering relationships with clients by improving pre-and post-sale processes.
- Should have managed projects worth 10 million US dollars.
- This role will have overall responsibility for the team P&L, detailed reporting and analysis relating to both revenue and costs to help make key business decisions and also strictly measure team performance and track it with P&L on quarterly basis.
- Develop & create brand name of the company.
- Develop & acquire new clients.
- Should have managed Alliances in the past.
- Ability to demonstrate work experience related to primary transportation.
- Should have managed freight rates in earlier work experience.
- Have excellent customer facing skills.
- Should come with prior or current experience in leading transportation department.
- Should be able to identify and mitigate program risks.
Key Skills and Competencies :
- Effective communicator, proactive planner with strong analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities.
- Proficient multi-tasking capabilities; ability to prioritize multiple client job requisitions, business processes while remaining compliant with policies and delivering against deadlines.
- Quick learner with an ability to scale up and flexible on work timings.
- Assertive and solution-oriented with an ability to meet strict timelines and adhere to processes.
- Ability to occasionally travel for meetings, client visits, and bidding fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule.
- Prior management experience.
