Job Summary:
The Senior Sales Manager is a seasoned professional responsible for driving sales of power presses and related equipment. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions. The Senior Sales Manager plays a key role in achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and contributing to the growth of the company. The sales manager will be required to travel around Delhi-NCR area to meet existing and potential clients, create a sales funnel and convert the inquiries into orders.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
2) Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand client requirements, challenges, and objectives to propose appropriate solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
3) Product Knowledge:
- Possess in-depth knowledge of power press machines, manufacturing processes, and related technologies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the power press sector.
4) Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
- Provide regular and accurate sales reports, including forecasts, pipeline status, and sales activities.
- Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
5) Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, customer service, and product development, to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
- Provide insights and feedback to contribute to product development and marketing initiatives.
6) Mentoring the sales team:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the sales team.
- Lead by example, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
- Daily reporting and work scheduling of the junior sales team.
7) Customer Visits:
- Daily visits to different customer ends, to get RFQs, create a large sales funnel, and convert the inquiries into orders
