Invensis - Manager - Search Engine Optimization (10-15 yrs)

SEO Manager:

We are looking for an SEO Manager to coordinate SEO efforts, including onsite and offsite optimization and keyword expansion research. You'll also oversee paid search campaigns to ensure their success. & an analytical and perceptive professional who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams. Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential to this role. Your goal will be to ensure that content is search-engine friendly and optimized to increase our company's profitability.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute successful SEO strategies

- Manage team of SEO Specialists and Analysts

- Work towards organic search optimization and ROI maximization

- Conduct in-depth keyword research, develop strategic content clusters, and guide content teams in crafting engaging, high-quality articles. Ensure all content adheres to SEO best practices through thorough review and optimization

- Conduct regular, comprehensive keyword ranking audits and implement targeted optimizations to enhance and restore rankings

- Possess advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting, along with the ability to create impactful PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate complex information and insights to stakeholders.

- Plan and create new business pages, optimize existing content for maximum impact, and develop strategies for new landing pages to promote upcoming business services

- Lead off-page optimization efforts, including link-building, HARO outreach, and guest posting, while managing external freelancers. Experience in managing Upwork projects is a valuable plus

- Generate monthly reports on traffic, rankings, and key SEO metrics, and develop a new strategy for the upcoming month based on insights and key takeaways from the current month's performance

- Work with social media and PPC teams to optimize campaigns

- Oversee the company's online reputation management across key platforms such as AmbitionBox, Glassdoor, and Google My Business, ensuring a positive brand presence and addressing any feedback or reviews promptly

- Continuously monitor and optimize on-page SEO elements such as meta tags, headers, keyword density, website errors (GSC and SEMrush), internal linking, and content structure to enhance website performance and search engine rankings.

- Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends

- Lead and manage the publishing team to ensure all content is thoroughly reviewed for accuracy, is error-free, and adheres to SEO best practices before being published on the site.

- Identify problems and deficiency and implement solutions in a timely manner

- Suggest improvements in process and productivity optimization

- Collaborate with web developers, designers, and the marketing team to launch new products or features, ensuring all initiatives align with best SEO practices for optimal visibility and performance

- Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices

Requirements

- 10+ years' experience as SEO Manager, SEM Manager or similar role

- Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices. Prior experience in the EdTech sector is a valuable advantage

- Advanced Excel & PowerPoint Skills : Expertise in using Excel for data analysis and reporting, coupled with the ability to create engaging PowerPoint presentations that effectively convey SEO strategies and results to stakeholders.

- Technical SEO Knowledge : Expertise in optimizing website structure, improving site speed, and resolving indexing and crawling issues.

- Keyword Research & Strategy : Ability to perform in-depth keyword research and develop effective keyword strategies.

- On-page & Off-page SEO: Proficiency in optimizing meta tags, headers, internal linking, content, and managing link-building strategies.

- Analytics & Reporting : Experience with tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and generating insightful reports.

- Content Strategy : Knowledge of content marketing, content creation, and optimization aligned with SEO goals.

- SEO Tools : Familiarity with SEO platforms and tools like Moz, Screaming Frog, or SEMrush.

- HTML/CSS Basics : Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to work effectively with developers.

- Data-driven Decision Making : Experience with SEO reporting and Strong analytical skills to analyze data, track KPIs, and adjust strategies accordingly.

- Collaboration & Leadership : Excellent communication and leadership skills to work with cross-functional teams like content, marketing, and development.

- Problem-solving & Adaptability : Ability to address challenges and adapt to evolving SEO trends and search engine algorithm updates.


- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends and evolving content formats to enhance content marketing initiatives continually.

- Experience in A/B and other Testing Tools.

- Excellent communication skills, Time Management Skills

- Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner and Google Analytics.

- Strong organizational and leadership skills

- Analytical mindset (Critical Thinking) with numerical aptitude and Problem-Solving Skills

- BSc/BA in Marketing, Business or related field
