Job Role: Frontline Business Development Person - Influencer Mgmt., ILPL

Company Overview: InTim Laminates is a new entrant in the Laminate company, which is growing rapidly. It is one of the very few manufacturers of laminates and allied products in Eastern India. InTim Laminates is committed to delivering innovative products and solutions that cater to the unique needs of customers, architects, and interior designers, all of whom play key roles in product specification. As we expand our operations, we are seeking dynamic and results-driven Executives for Business Development by working with the Influencers.

Position Overview :


We are looking for an experienced Frontline Business Development Person who will be responsible for working with, developing and implementing strategic sales plans to support the Retail Team & the Organization to meet and exceed sales targets within the designated geographies. The successful candidate will focus on establishing and nurturing relationships with various Influencers - Architects, Interior Designers, PMCs, OEMs, Contractors, and others to promote our products/services, driving revenue growth and ensuring customer satisfaction. The job entails complete end-to-end Site Management, starting from getting the Brand specified, picking up the Specifications from Influencers, and ensuring that supplies are made to Contractors/Clients through the Retail Sales Team or directly. For ensuring sales to Contractors/Clients, The Frontline Business Development Person for Influencer Management will be supported in his area by his Retail / Channel Team colleagues and by his / her Supervisor, typically the Branch Sales Manager, who manages both the Channel/ Retail Team and the Influencer Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives within the assigned area.

2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with all Influencers in the value chain to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.

3. Product Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our products/services to effectively communicate their value proposition.

4. Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by actively prospecting and generating leads within the architecture and interior design community.

5. Sales Presentations: Conduct engaging and informative product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for architects, interior designers, and other key stakeholders.

6. Sale Closure: Meet contractors and retailers to close the loop once specification has been done by the architect / IDs in coordination with the Retail / Channel Team.

7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless communication and alignment of goals.

8. Sales Reporting: Input the daily visits done into the company-provided Sales-Force- Automation App (SFA) and analyze regular reports coming from SFA on sales performance. Share with seniors - information picked up on market trends and competitor activities. Utilized data to analyze results and adjust strategies accordingly.

9. Travel: Be willing to travel within the designated area to meet clients, attend industry events, and build a strong regional presence. Should preferably have a 2/4 wheeler to effectively cover the designated territory.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in Influencer Management, specifically within the Building material Industry.

- Understanding of Microsoft Office Suit, CRM / SFA Systems - and ability to put daily visit & activity data into these software systems or Apps

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Reporting:

Typically, to the Branch Sales Manager / Location Sales Manager. S/he may also have to directly or indirectly report to the Regional Sales Manager / Zonal Sales Manager / National

Sales Manager depending on Business requirements or as per the Management decision.

Candidate Profile:

- Minimum of 2-3 or more years of relevant experience in Influencer Management in the Building Material Industry. People with more experience will also be considered if found suitable for higher positions.

- Self-driven & willing to work hard

- Patient

- Familiarity with the local/regional market dynamics and customer base would be preferred

- Good communication skills. Should know the local language and preferably Hindi &/or English

- Good understanding of Influencers and the way to manage them

- Very good interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs

- Willing to travel locally regularly and upcountry if required

- Preferably should have a two-wheeler (along with a two-wheeler license) for local travel

- Should own a Smartphone & be reasonably tech-savvy with MS Office Suite or

equivalent & CRM / SFA tools

1. Sales Skills:

- Excellent relationship and negotiation skills with a proven track record

- Strong understanding of the building material industry, products, and market dynamics.

2. Communica6on Skills:

- Good verbal and preferably written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients

- Ability to explain complex products and concepts in an easy-to-understand manner

- Should be confident in the local language of the trade & also know either Hindi &/or English

3. Analy6cal & Problem-Solving Skills:

- Ability to analyze basic sales data and market trends

- Proactive in resolving issues and identifying opportunities for improvement

4. Rela6onship Management:

- Strong interpersonal skills for managing relationships with the Retail / Channel

Team and the trade

5. Product Knowledge:

- Knowledge of building materials, particularly laminates, is preferred

- Ability to stay updated with industry trends, innovations, and competitive products

6. Tech Knowledge:

- Preferably proficient in SFA & CRM software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for sales tracking and reporting.
