How Will I Be Evaluated?
Your performance as a Sales Manager will be evaluated based on:
1. Sales Targets: Achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets and revenue goals for the South East Asia region.
2. Market Expansion: Success in identifying and penetrating new markets within the region.
3. Client Relationships: Quality of relationships and satisfaction levels of key clients and partners.
4. Team Leadership: Effectiveness in leading and developing the regional sales team.
5. Reporting and Analysis: Accuracy and timeliness of sales reports, market analysis, and strategic recommendations.
6. Compliance: Adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regional regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Developing and expanding the distribution and sales network in South East Asia
2. Performing active sales activities, conducting negotiations and concluding contracts;
3. Generating leads and a sales pipeline
4. Provides support to customers in the form of technical support or promotional support in order to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
5. Independently navigate the Sales lifecycle from proposal >negotiate > closure
6. Reporting: Weekly and Monthly comprehensive reporting to the Director.
7. Participating in international tradeshows;
8. Being on the road to visit potential customers.
9. Ensure compliance with export regulations, trade laws, and customs requirements in various countries.
10. Understand documentation and paperwork necessary for exporting our products.
11. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with international customers.
Requirements
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (MBA preferred.)
2. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least [6] years in a managerial role within the South East Asia region.
3. Skills:
a) Strong leadership and team management skills.
b) Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
c) Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
d) Deep understanding of the SE Asia market and cultural nuances.
4. Languages: Fluency in English; proficiency in French or other regional languages is a plus.
5. Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the SE Asia region.
