About the Role :
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven SEO Intern to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and executing link-building strategies to enhance our website's visibility and organic traffic. This role involves collaborating with content creators and engaging with website owners and bloggers to secure high-quality backlinks.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant target keywords with high search volume and low competition.
- Analyse website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush) to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to optimise website content, technical structure, and user experience for search engines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is optimised for target keywords and adheres to SEO best practices.
- Develop & Manage strategic outreach campaigns and link-building strategies with the Outreach Specialist.
- Analyse SEO performance data and provide regular reports with actionable insights to the Manager.
- Stay informed about Google's algorithms and SEO guidelines to ensure white-hat link-building practices.
- Assist with content creation efforts by identifying link-worthy topics and opportunities.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in link building and SEO best practices and Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Excellent communication and outreach skills, with the ability to build rapport with website owners.
- A passion for content marketing and the ability to identify link-worthy content opportunities.
- Prior experience in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or wordstream is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Bonus points :
- Experience with content creation and guest blogging.
- Knowledge of competitor analysis tools and strategies.
- Experience with social media outreach for link building in b2b SaaS companies.
