Job Description :

The Video Editing Intern will assist in the creation and editing of video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in video production and editing while contributing to real projects.

Responsibilities :

- Assist in editing video footage to create engaging and high-quality content.

- Work with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards.

- Edit raw footage, add effects, graphics, music, and voiceovers as needed.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure videos align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

- Collaborate with content creators and team members to develop video concepts and storylines.

- Add graphics, animations, and effects to enhance the visual appeal of videos.

- Help organize and maintain video assets and archives.

- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for video projects.

- Stay updated on the latest video editing software, techniques, and trends.

- Ensure videos are optimized for YouTube, including proper tagging, titling, and descriptions.

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements :

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communication, or a related field.

- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).

- Basic understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.

- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with motion graphics and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).

- Familiarity with sound design and audio editing.

- Previous internship or freelance experience in video editing or production.

- Knowledge of social media platforms and video content best practices.
