Intern - Business Development - SaaS (0-1 yrs)
Job Title:- Business Development Intern
Responsibilities:
- Research, identify, and engage with potential customers by gathering relevant information about their companies, industries, and events that enable impactful conversations.
- Nurture and qualify leads that have shown interest in the company's solutions through inbound channels, ensuring effective follow-up and engagement.
- Reach out to potential customers via cold calling, email, and social media to introduce the company's offerings (outbound prospecting).
- Present the company and its products/services to prospects, identify their needs, and suggest appropriate solutions.
- Guide interested prospects through product demos and move them to the next stage in the sales pipeline.
- Develop a call script to assess and qualify leads, setting up high-quality meetings for the sales team.
- Document interactions and key insights from calls to ensure seamless handover and understanding for Account Executives.
- Meet lead generation targets and contribute towards achieving overall performance goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Strong interest in sales, lead generation, and business development in the SaaS or B2B technology industry.
- Enthusiastic self-starter with a proactive approach to inbound and outbound lead generation.
- Basic understanding of CRM tools, sales engagement platforms, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently.
- Motivated, organized, and able to adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
