Job Title: Insurance Specialist - Car Showroom
Location: Coimbatore, Tirupur, Pollachi
Department: Sales/Finance
Reports To: Showroom Manager
Salary : Min 25k to 30k
Job Summary :
The Insurance Specialist plays a pivotal role in assisting customers with vehicle insurance options while ensuring a seamless purchasing experience at the car showroom. This role involves working closely with customers, sales teams, and insurance providers to offer tailored insurance products, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Customer Assistance :
- Guide customers in selecting suitable car insurance policies based on their needs and budget.
- Explain the features, benefits, and terms of various insurance products available.
- Address customer queries and concerns related to insurance policies.
2. Insurance Sales and Coordination :
- Collaborate with sales teams to integrate insurance options into the car purchase process.
- Liaise with multiple insurance providers to present competitive quotes and options.
- Upsell additional insurance products, such as extended warranties and gap insurance.
3. Documentation and Compliance :
- Assist customers in completing insurance applications and ensuring all necessary documents are submitted.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for automotive insurance policies.
- Maintain accurate records of insurance transactions and customer interactions.
4. Claims and Renewals Support :
- Guide customers on filing insurance claims, if required.
- Provide reminders and assistance for policy renewals.
5. Administrative Tasks :
- Regularly update and maintain an in-house database of insurance providers, products, and customer policies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on insurance sales and related metrics.
Skills and Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Prior experience in the automotive or insurance industry is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good understanding of automotive insurance products and regulations.
