Insurance Sales Role (7-15 yrs)
The Senior Insurance Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales of insurance products, managing key client relationships, and expanding the company's client base. This senior-level position requires a high degree of expertise in the insurance industry, sales strategies, and team leadership. The role involves selling a variety of insurance products, including life, health, auto, home, and commercial insurance, to both individual and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development & Execution
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets for insurance products across various segments.
- Drive new business development by identifying potential clients, generating leads, and converting them into long-term customers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns to increase lead generation.
- Oversee the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring smooth transitions and customer satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and new clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients, providing personalized advice and insurance solutions based on their needs.
- Conduct regular client reviews to assess their insurance needs and offer product updates or changes.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
- Mentor and guide junior sales staff and insurance agents to improve their sales techniques and achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the team's knowledge of products and sales tactics.
- Collaborate with management to set performance targets, track team progress, and offer constructive feedback.
Product Knowledge & Consultation
- Stay updated on the latest insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes to provide accurate advice to clients.
- Analyze clients' needs and recommend tailored insurance solutions based on their personal, business, or organizational requirements.
- Educate clients on the benefits of various insurance policies and ensure they are well-informed about their coverage options.
Performance & Reporting
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to senior management.
- Utilize CRM systems to manage client interactions and sales progress.
Market Expansion
- Identify and develop new markets and customer segments to drive revenue growth.
- Build partnerships with other financial services or third-party providers to expand the product offering and increase sales opportunities.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all sales activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- Educate clients about policy terms, conditions, exclusions, and any changes in insurance regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all insurance sales, ensuring proper record-keeping for audit and compliance purposes.
