Institute of Product Leadership - Academic Counselor (3-7 yrs)
We are looking for a results-driven and competitive sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. As the sales linchpin for Institute of Product Leadership, will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales. You will also work closely with the marketing team and across other functions to spread the word out and expand the institute's footprint across different market segments. Responsibilities:
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails, and convert them as enrolments (paid admissions) for courses and programs
- Provide career consulting services to prospects
- Take ownership of the complete product
- Build good relationships with existing customers to generate more referral leads
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on lead conversion
- Handle walk-in/telephonic/mail/website enquiries
- Attend industry related events to generate new leads
- Maintain strong network with industry partners on current and potential job opportunities for product leaders
- Provide career counseling to course participants and engage active career management for alumni of the school
- Work regularly on CRM tools
Requirements:
- Effective networking to engage industry partners
- Comprehensive knowledge of the sales cycles
- Prominent with closing inbound leads
- Critical business thinking to achieve sales objective
- Leadership and verbal communication acumen
- Well-versed with planning and organizing events
- Strong telephone and email etiquettes
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Prior experience in sales, business development and career counselling is a big plus
Qualification and Experience
- PG degree with 3+ years of experience preferred
