What does an Inside Sales Representative do :
- An inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
Responsibilities :
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your territory
- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
- Perform effective online demos to prospects
- Supporting the other sales team in building Marketing Collateral.
- Have an Extensive concept & solution selling experience.
- Ability to analyze, understand and exploit market trends in developing and implementing sales plans
- Performing and Doing Extensive Secondary Research for Company Profiling, Lead Generation along with Industry Analysis of various verticals
- Working on Primary and Secondary Market Research tools i.e. Zoom info, Jigsaw, Reuters,LinkedIn, One Source, Lead411, Google Finance & Yahoo Finance etc.
- Managing the research and creation of written content on companies, (including creating company details, descriptions and profiles) based on secondary research.
- Develop, identify and secure all relevant sales opportunities
- Maintain personal contact with the IT Managers / Directors / VP / CIO to keep abreast with the current and new products launched in the Market.
- Regular follow up with the prospects to ensure future business and to keep prospect warm.
- Experienced in self closure as well starting from lead generation to maturing the lead and further converting into a closure.
- Working with cross-functional teams for successful execution of projects.
- Closely coordinate with Pre-sales team to make sure on time delivery of RFI / RFP and, Proposal
- Building, Collateral preparation, facilitating technical interviews, proposal walk through.
Desirables :
- Proven inside sales experience
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of industry experience.
