Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Ad Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Digital Ad Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving digital advertising revenue through the sale of our digital marketing solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and advertising agencies.
Responsibilities:
1. Client Acquisition: Identify and prospect new clients, including advertising agencies and direct advertisers, to expand the digital advertising client base.
2. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed digital advertising revenue targets.
3. Product Knowledge: Stay current on industry trends and digital advertising solutions to effectively communicate the value of our products and services to clients.
4. Custom Solutions: Collaborate with clients to understand their advertising needs and develop customised digital advertising solutions to meet their objectives.
5. Proposal Development: Create compelling and persuasive sales proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to the client's goals and target audience.
6. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, advertising agencies, and internal teams to ensure successful execution of digital advertising campaigns.
7. Campaign Optimization: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing recommendations for optimization to ensure maximum ROI for clients.
8. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the digital advertising space.
9. Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management to track progress and evaluate performance.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or a related field.
2. Experience: Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in digital advertising sales, with a strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and technologies.
3. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with digital advertising platforms, ad tech, programmatic advertising, and social media advertising.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
5. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and drive revenue.
6. Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
7. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse campaign data and provide actionable insights.
8. Results-Driven: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and goals.
9. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using digital tools and platforms for sales and reporting purposes.
