Ingram Micro - Regional Sales Manager (8-15 yrs)
Designation: Regional Sales Manager
Experience: 8 to 15 Years in selling IT Hardware through Channels.
Educational Qualification: Any Graduate, B.E./B.Tech or MBA/MMS/PG would be added advantage.

Product: SAAS Desktops, Laptops, Servers, Workstations, Thin Clients, Tablet PCs, Printers, Scanners, Plotters, UPS, Microsoft Softwares etc
Brands to be managed currently : HP, Dell, Acer, Lenovo, Fujitsu, Microsoft, etc
Role - Business Development/Management of Commercial & Enterprise Businesses of Core Division
Reporting team : 6 to 7 Business Development Executives will report to this role, so should have man management skills
Job responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Business Goals by working out and executing sales plans in coordination with the Vendors for assigned products for in Telengana State and Andhra Pradesh.
- Will be responsible to ensure that we have the desired market shares of the assigned products in Telengana State and Andhra Pradesh by pro-active business planning and working out strategies which are in line with vendor plans.
- Will be responsible to ensure that business is done with maximum customers in the assigned territory of Telengana State and Andhra Pradesh
- Ensure achievement of Quarterly and Annual Revenue and Margin targets as well as growth targets through the business development team and by working in close coordination with the Branch Account Management teams.
- Must ensure value addition to vendors and customers through his teams so as to differentiate ourselves w.r.t other distributors.
Key Job Functions:
- Actively engage with the Local Vendor Managers responsible for Telengana State and Andhra Pradesh and ensuring that they have good mindshare for Ingram. Understand their go-to market strategies and work out our strategies based on that so as to maximize our sales.
- Actively engage with resellers in Telengana State and Andhra Pradesh, develop a good understanding of customer needs, identify and close business opportunities in our favor in the territories assigned.
- Ensure breadth and coverage in the business as per the planned go-to-market strategies of the company.
- Manage sales order funnels to assess the pipeline of prospective business opportunities and proactively put all the internal enablers in place for closing the deals in our favor.
- Analyze and figure out customers- business potential along with the respective BDEs for each product line by evaluating previous year transactions, customer database, and current available opportunities in market etc.
- Mentor, coach, motivate and support the BDE's in achieving performance goals.
- Track progress against targets on an ongoing basis and take all necessary actions in close coordination with the Regional Manager so that sales is maximized .
- Get all required certifications done for team members as well as for self, in which ever businesses it is required.
Key Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of working in sales through distribution channels.
- Result orientated, and should have the ability to multi-task.
- Team Management Skillsets will be required as job involves managing business development teams and must have a mindset of coaching and developing teams.
- Must have vendor management skillsets.
- Must have Time Management Skillsets, Business Planning and Execution Skillsets.
- Must be an enthusiastic leader, and team player, having the ability to work in an aggressive and fast moving environment where key objectives need to be met in fixed timelines.
