Description :

- Responsible for drawing up editorial strategy with Editor in chief, and also its execution daily.

- The editorial responsibility covers textual, visual (pictorial), video and social media content, will manage editorial teams in different cities including Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi.

- Ensure site is updated on daily basis with ongoing reportage of the cable TV, satellite TV, media, advertising, marketing, digital platforms, content creation & distribution, the business and financial aspects, government and regulatory, investment, HR practices, executive lifestyle and other important aspects of these sectors.

- Editorial content consists of news, analysis, features, insights, and interviews, columnist contributions, data, and research.

- Connect and constantly engage with Senior Executives of the industry and regulatory officials

- Verify facts, data, statistics, reportage, and ensure high standards of journalistic ethics and maintain and build the credibility that the site has attained.

- Will work with management to help build native advertising initiatives and agendas for conferences and other editorial linked forays when called upon.

- Ensure that the language of the site maintains global standards and ensure that the style-sheet is conformed with at all times across indiantelevision.com.

- Have an attitude of positive development of the industry while reporting on it.

Minimum Requirements :

- Minimum 10 years of experience in digital media/ journalism.

- Experience in managing a team; in particular, experience in coaching and mentoring broadcast or digital reporters in best practices for digital journalism.

- Experience and success in directing the development of multimedia content as video, audio and social media.

- Impeccable news judgement.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and a demonstrated ability to multi-task.

- Meticulous and detail oriented.

- Conversant with basics of editing.

Preferred Requirements :

- Passion for journalism that fulfills audience needs, integrates audience response, and prioritizes audience engagement.

- Knowledge of and passion for digital media.
