Objective of the Role:
We are searching for exceptional individuals to take a junior/middle/ senior level position in our sales efforts. We are looking for people who are passionate about digital space and can take leadership in developing and managing relationships with our esteemed clients and stakeholders.
Candidates must have a proven track record for delivering on or exceeding revenue goals, ideally from within the online ad sales domain. Candidates must be self starter - highly motivated, extremely organized, team-oriented, creative, and possess outstanding communication and negotiating skills required to sell in a consultative fashion. Candidates would be responsible for generating leads, negotiating new deals, and increasing online advertising revenue across the board - that combines paid, owned and earned media in one place.
These candidates will also have an opportunity to work closely with the leadership team to find, create, and build new relationships that can result in untapped revenue generating opportunities.
KRAs Involved:
Create, implement and own sales pipeline & ROI proposals to manage lead intake, outbound activity, prioritization and metrics for measurement of deal status.
- Achieve sales goals each quarter and continuously develop an extensive set of relationships at C-level, VP and Director-levels across companies and across industry categories.
- Continuously grow revenue via increased reach and penetration across numerous content owner accounts as well as sales of new and incremental services. - bringing existing clientele/business & database on board.
- Support and oversee cross departmental communication and schedule internal/external client and agency meetings.
- Conduct prospecting research and analysis, and implement targeting strategies to secure new clients.
- Hungry to stay abreast with latest trends, technologies and development in new media space, AFPs, brand and content solutions, data analytics, prevailing/upcoming advertising formats in both online as well as offline mediums.
- Execute several quick-turnaround deliverables, sales presentations, opportunity briefs, including proposals, case studies, deal sheets.
- Maintain current knowledge of our industry, market, and competitors to provide that sales edge needed to close business and generate revenue.
- Travel when necessary to meet potential customers - must be willing to be on the road often.
Competencies/ Skills :
- Preferably MBA / Graduate in sales, business management or related field.
- 2 - 9 years experience in sales/business development, ideally in media/ad-sales environment.
- Proven track record of successful six figure sales - delivering on or exceeding revenue goals.
