Indbank Global Support Services - Team Leader - Sales (5-8 yrs)
Overview :
- As the Business Development & Tele Sales Team Leader for IGSSL, you will lead a dynamic team of tele sales representatives focused on driving business growth and expanding our customer base through outbound call centre activities.
- Leveraging your extensive experience in business development and tele sales within the financial services industry, you will guide and motivate your team to achieve sales targets, foster customer relationships, and promote the bank's products and services effectively.
Responsibilities :
Team Leadership :
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of tele sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure individual and team success.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a customer-centric approach to sales.
Sales Performance Management :
- Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, monitoring and analysing performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback and coaching to team members, recognizing achievements and addressing performance issues promptly and effectively.
Business Development :
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to drive business growth, expand market presence, and acquire new customers.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-selling and upselling bank products and services to existing and prospective customers, leveraging market insights and customer feedback.
Customer Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns proactively and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Follow up with customers to gather feedback, resolve issues, and nurture long-term relationships, fostering loyalty and advocacy for the bank's brand.
Operational Excellence :
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures governing sales activities, maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and professionalism.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to optimize sales processes, enhance product offerings, and improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, tele sales, or a related field within the financial services industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth, with a deep understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and best practices.
4. Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate a team, foster a culture of accountability and performance excellence, and lead by example.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders and effectively convey complex information.
6. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to track and evaluate sales performance, identify trends and opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
7. Results-oriented with a passion for sales and customer service, coupled with a commitment to delivering exceptional results and exceeding customer expectations.
