Educational Advisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Educational Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counseling students both via calls and in-person (walk-ins) regarding our training programs for competitive entrance exams such as CAT, GMAT, CLAT, and others. Your role will be critical in guiding students to make informed decisions about their academic paths and preparing them for success in entrance exams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel prospective students over phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings regarding various training programs for entrance exams such as CAT, GMAT, CLAT, etc.
- Assist students in understanding the course structure, fee details, and benefits of the training programs offered.
- Provide personalized guidance based on the students' academic background, aspirations, and exam goals.
- Follow up with prospective students to convert inquiries into successful enrollments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and changes in entrance exams to provide accurate and relevant information.
- Handle student inquiries, queries, and doubts promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the marketing and admissions team to achieve enrollment targets.
- Maintain detailed records of student interactions, follow-ups, and feedback.
- Help organize and participate in educational fairs, seminars, and promotional activities.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and other stakeholders to foster a positive reputation for the institution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Education or Counseling background is a plus).
- Prior experience in student counseling, sales, or advisory roles, preferably in the education sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer-service orientation and the ability to manage student concerns with patience.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment and meet enrollment goals.
- Familiarity with entrance exams such as CAT, GMAT, CLAT, etc., and the corresponding training programs.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
Work Schedule:
- 6 days a week with rotational off on any of the week days.
- Flexibility to work on weekends or extended hours may be required during peak enrollment periods.
