ImpactGuru - Fundraising Manager - HNI Segment (4-10 yrs)

Position Summary :

The Fundraising Manager- HNI will support ImpactGuru Foundation (IGF) to mobilize financial and non-monetary resources. He or she will lead IGF's associations with multiple existing and new stakeholders among high net worth individuals. The Manager constantly focuses on strengthening existing relationships within these partners as well as cultivating new champions among these stakeholders. This role works closely with the internal functions of IGF such as Program team, Finance team and Impact team to develop win-win opportunities to maximize our impact within and beyond.

Responsibilities :

- Identifying and contacting High Networth Individuals (HNI)

- Analyze the local HNI landscape in the region and create a pipeline of potential leads.

- Engage with HNI in this pipeline to create champions in Healthcare.

- To develop and write funding proposals, working closely with the Program teams, and prepare and present regular activity and performance reports for senior management.

Strategy and Plan:

- Create a defined fundraising plan & strategy in discussion with the senior management team for fundraising from the fund of funds, family offices and UHNI- s, HNI's in both in domestic and international markets

- To implement a growth strategy focusing on High Net Worth Individuals and ensure that IGF's fundraising targets are met through innovative approaches such as High profile events campaigns and face to face solicitations

- Coordinating and completing the due diligence formalities of the potential investors before their investment

Donor Relationship:

- Maintain and develop existing relationships with prospects through effective donor relationship management (stewardship) including the writing of compelling proposals, informative and timely updates and reports, phone calls, face to face meetings visits etc.

- Ensure that all HNI prospects have an appropriate relationship with IGF making full use of trustees, and senior management as appropriate.

Reports and donor Management: 

- Developing high-impact communications both internally and externally to advance potential partnerships

- Develop monthly data reports and analysis to track progress towards goals.

- Maintain accurate and up to date records on all interactions with HNI using the Orgn Tracker and other tools.

- Create and support initiatives for donor retention programs such as donor visits, campaigns and events, etc. to promote long term funding support

Miscellaneous

- Work with corporate fundraising unit and Individual fundraising unit to data mine HNI donors or work on upgrading to HNI donors Network with other fundraising verticals for coordinated fundraising across all channels

- Represent Organization at key external meetings, conferences, receptions, Events etc.

Produce detailed action plans on specific areas of responsibility outlined above, identifying areas for growth and development, outlining measurable objectives

Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Competencies : 

- Strong project management skills including assessing progress to goals and making the necessary course corrections or reinforcements

- Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills

- Strong analytical skills and data orientation including the skill and interest to work with sizeable quantities of data and pull out trends effectively and quickly

- Strong in the people quadrant with the ability to work with various people and build relationships.

- Have the ability to engage partners, both internal and external, on any level

- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel

- 5+ years of relevant work experience in client facing roles or a similar role, wit 3+years of prior HNI fundraising experience in top NGOs preferably in healthcare sector

- Graduate/ Postgraduate
