Under Impact Guru, Policy Guru/Carepal is an Insurtech startup. Insurance penetration in India is a huge problem. About only 20% of India has some form of health insurance. As an individual, you would have had some exposure to health insurance via a policy bazaar, an agent who is generally a relative, or your bank. Yet, you haven't bought it today. Why?
This is the problem we are trying to solve by creating innovative products in this space.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for forming and maintaining connections with business clients to drive corporate sales.
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Launch new partners including sales enablement & marketing efforts
- Drive sustainable financial growth by forging strong relationships with clients.
- Identifying opportunities for greater profits
- Grow and monetize existing partners through scalable programs that can span across multiple verticals/categories
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Research and identify new partnership opportunities and help in defining the partnership landscape. Build a pipeline that will grow the business
- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
- Understand customer needs and develop plans to address them
- Forward upselling and cross-selling opportunities to the sales team
- Promote high-quality sales, supply, and customer service processes
- Aim to preserve customers and renew contracts
- Gain knowledge of competitors
- Oversee customer relationship management system.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as product, sales, and customer success.
Professional Experiences :
- Proven experience in business development of Insurance products & Insuretech.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) practices
- Proven track record for acquisition & execution revenue-generating partnerships
- Understanding of partnerships and alliances and how they can create value for the business.
- Technology savvy & proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Market knowledge
