Imerys - Deputy Sales Manager (4-6 yrs)

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Primary Responsibility : To sell Imerys mineral based Filter Aids (Diatomaceous earth & Perlite) to Beer, Soft Drink, Juices, Wine, Other Beverages, Starch, Edible Oil, Pharma, Chemicals and other market for filtration application

- Secondary Responsibility : Willing to explore Personal Care market and sell Imerys Minerals (Perlite, Talc, Kaolin, Mica, Calcium Carbonate, Diatomaceous Earth, Bentonite & other minerals to this Personal Care market.

- Responsible for achieving and exceeding annual budget volume & revenue

- Contributes to increased profitability through price increases, improved product mix & implementation of improved service routes

- Key Account Management

- New Business Development


- Develop and grow sales volume, revenue and profitability

- Provide or arrange technical training to customers with the help of Technical Manager

- Manage Imerys distributors selling into these applications and help them to grow

- To coordinate with the relevant Technical & Market Managers to ensure all business objectives are being achieved

- Develop good relationship with customers at multiple levels

- Maintain active engagement with existing & potential customers through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest

- Map and understand India market for Filtration & Life Sciences business for different industries like Beer, Soft Drinks, Juices, Wine, Other Beverages, Pharma, Starch, Edible oil, Biodiesel, Oleo chemicals, Personal Care

- Keep a close eye on market trends, new technology, competitor activities & implement counter action plans accordingly

- Tracking of business activities & reporting on weekly and monthly basis and presenting it to management.

Education and Experience requirements:

- Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering or Food Technology or relevant course

- 4-6 years of working experience in sales or techno commercial role in filtration application or related application in a multinational environment

- Having market knowledge of Beer, Soft Drink, Juices, Wine, Other Beverages, Starch/Sweeteners, Edible Oil, Biodiesel, Pharma, Chemicals, Personal Care
