Role & Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Development:
- Create, implement, and oversee a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
- Develop engaging, SEO-friendly content across multiple platforms, including blogs, social media, email campaigns, and other collaterals.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to produce high-quality, on-brand content.
- Supervise video and graphic content creation.
2. Digital & Social Media Marketing:
- Design and manage innovative digital and social media campaigns for various platforms like LinkedIn, X and Facebook.
- Analyze and report on social media performance, providing actionable insights to optimize reach, engagement, and conversion.
3. Event Marketing Coordination:
- Plan and execute content ideas for on-ground events.
- Coordinate with in-house teams to align content strategy with broader marketing goals.
4. Market Research & Trend Monitoring:
- Stay updated on market trends, peer/competitor activities, and emerging content formats.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance content strategies and improve target audience engagement.
Preferred candidate profile:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Master degree or equivalent in a related field is a plus.
Experience:
- 7-8 years of experience in content marketing, or a related role within the Marketing domain.
- Proven track record of managing successful marketing campaigns.
- Preferred Education industry background (not mandatory).
- Experience working with media, agencies, or entertainment production houses is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in content creation tools and platforms.
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking.
- Should be open to travel to head office (Kanpur), as and when required.
