ICICI Lombard - Manager - Strategic Alliances - Private/Commercial Vehicle & Two Wheeler Vertical (3-15 yrs)
New Business Development in Private, Commercial Vehicle and 2W space :
- Candidates with Private, Commercial Vehicle and 2W experience in individual vertical roles, Agency or broking, managing motor aggregators and also look at new business development in ecommerce space and Fintech.
- Aptitude to learn new things with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in the General Insurance space
- Prospecting potential E-commerce clients for successful and profitable alliance for the various lines of product.
- Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
- Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
- Understand products and services offered by us and be able to articulate its functions and benefits to external audiences
- Contacting potential clients
- On boarding the New partner, scoping out the business, and ensuring a smooth transition of the channel.
- Driving Daily Sales via Channel partner and business intermediaries.
Role & Responsibilities :
- Work with management team to identify and evaluate new market, new target clients
- Work with management team to develop and implement strategic sales plan _Identify and evaluate specific new profitable business opportunities
- Achieve own sales target and company target
- Initiate and complete proposals and presentation for new business opportunities
- Work with internal teams to deliver outstanding presentation to capture profitable business opportunity
- To maintain an excellent client relationship with existing and potential client
- Developing quotes and proposals
- Acquiring and on boarding New clients Building & developing client Relationship.
- Business development
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients- objectives
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Must Haves:
- 1 years (or plus) of experience in sales/business development in Insurance
- Private, Commercial Vehicle and 2W experience in individual vertical roles, Agency or broking, managing motor aggregators and also look at new business development in ecommerce space and Fintech
- Proven track record of developing new businesses
- Strong in client connection and client services
- Strong responsibility, self-motivated, able to work under high pressure
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- A passion for sales and a drive to succeed
- Should have an exposure to Sales
