Experience: 0-5 years of work experience. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, English or a related field.

Job Brief
We are looking for a talented content developer to author original content to be used in the creation of marketing collateral, to publish on the corporate blog and to support our social media channels. The content developer must have an understanding of the market, the customer and our products and be able to communicate effectively in both text and visual formats. Copywriting will be a core skill, to support various marketing collateral needs. In addition, the content developer must also be able to either create or manage the creation of visual infographics and image and video content to support
Job Description
The content developers- primary role is to build and maintain the corporate website, landing pages and blog. Secondly, the content developer will support the social media manager with original content to support social media campaigns. This may include test, image and video content. Finally, the content developer will generate content to support marketing programs including whitepapers, ebooks, presentations and event signage.
We are a small startup, so we need someone who can wear several content development hats. This role has the ability to grow into a marketing management role as the company grow.
Website management duties include:
- Analyzing and optimizing web traffic
- Building and maintaining all website integrations
- Implementation of corporate branding
- Ensuring mobile responsiveness for all web content
- SEO optimization of all web content
- Author and publish relevant blog content on a regular basis
- Create and manage blog editorial calendar (together with social media manager)
- Marketing Collateral content duties include:
- Planning and execution of marketing collateral projects (under direction of Marketing Director).
- Hire and manage third party agencies/freelancers to help deliver on projects.
- Copywriting of original content for marketing collateral
- Manage, organize and version all marketing assets including digital content
- Ensure all content used is properly licensed or copyrighted
- Project Management for marketing collateral
- Produce and deliver content as required for events/shows including digital content, print materials and booth signage.
- Create/edit corporate presentations.
