Job Profile :

- Sponsorship Sales comprises of creating a database, cold calling, setting up meetings, making follow up calls till the closure of the sponsorship. It can also involve travelling for meetings whenever required. Key focus shall be on generating a strong database and getting them on board as a sponsor for the events. It shall also involve working with a team for event marketing through social media, public relations and other forms of digital marketing to generate leads of prospective sponsors.- The exact designation will be planned post the interview. We have opportunities in junior to mid level roles.


Job description :

- The applicant should have a good understanding of the digital industry and shall be responsible for the sponsorship and space selling of the events, along with production of events from conception to completion. Events can include:

- Conferences & Seminars

- Short Roundtable Discussions

- Offsites

Roles and responsibilities :

- You will be expected to carry out tasks that are assigned to you from time to time by the Reporting Manager at the association. However, your primary responsibilities are detailed below :


- Identify prospective clients in the existing market & thereby work to achieve target revenues for the events.

- Devising a Marketing plan within limited budgets for every assigned event to build up the database of prospective sponsors.

- Sourcing and tracking potential leads for Sponsorship through marketing activities.

- Preparing sponsorship proposals and presentations for the potential sponsors.

- Negotiating and closing on Sponsorship and Space selling of the events

- Client Servicing and working with events execution team for executing the event from end to end and ensuring the deliverables promised to the sponsors are fulfilled

- Coordinating and getting Sponsor-side speakers on board for the event

- Keeping track of various ongoing events by competitors and learning from them

- Liaising with designers to create posters, catalogues and sales brochures, plus social media posts, essential for closing the sponsorship for the event.

- Coordinating suppliers, handling client queries and troubleshooting on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly.

- Post-event evaluation (including data entry and analysis and producing reports for event - stakeholders).

- Forecasting annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue

Qualification and experience :

- Excellent communication skills in English are a must.

- 65% above marks or excellent GPA/ CGPA only required (Excellent Academic background)

- Good presentation skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially excel)

- Ability to work under extreme deadlines.
