Job Description : Content Writer
We are looking for a Content Writer responsible for managing and creating various types of content for our platform, Slurrp for the Hindustan Times. This role includes responsibilities related to content planning, creation, coordination, and delivery.
Position : Content Writer Intern
Duration : 6-9 months
Stipend : 10,000 INR per month
Responsibilities :
- Researching, ideating, and crafting compelling written content centred around the food industry, including but not limited to culinary trends, restaurant reviews, recipe features, food culture, and culinary events.
- Writing four articles per day, each comprising a minimum of 700 words, to be published across various platforms including print, online, and social media, while adhering to Hindustan Times' editorial standards and style guidelines.
Requirements :
- Excellent writing skills with a flair for storytelling, creativity, and attention to detail, particularly in the context of food-related topics.
- Passion for food, culinary arts, and gastronomy, coupled with a strong interest in exploring diverse cuisines, cooking techniques, and culinary traditions.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, prioritize tasks, and adapt to evolving editorial needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles, digital content trends, and social media platforms, with a willingness to learn and apply new techniques.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Food Studies, Culinary Arts, English, or a related field.
