Responsibilities :

Territory Management :

- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for the assigned area to achieve revenue and growth targets.

- Identify key market segments and potential clients, focusing on SME contractors, general contractors, labor contractors, PMCs, and developers.

- Ensure effective coverage of the assigned territory through proper planning and allocation of resources.

Business Development :

- Actively pursue new business opportunities and partnerships within the area.

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers within construction companies, developers, and PMCs.

- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitors.

Sales Team Leadership :

- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team within the designated area.

- Set clear sales targets and provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure goals are met.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training programs as needed.

Client Relationship Management :

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive customer satisfaction and retention.

- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly, working collaboratively with internal teams to provide solutions.

Sales Reporting and Analysis :

- Prepare regular sales reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales forecasts.

- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

- Provide insights and feedback to senior management.

Collaboration with Marketing :

- Work closely with the marketing team to execute local marketing initiatives and promotional activities.

- Provide market insights to contribute to the development of effective marketing strategies.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

- Proven experience of 2-5 years in sales management within the construction or building materials industry.

- Strong understanding of the construction industry and the procurement process.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to drive and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed targets.

- Analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.

- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
