Holiday Advisor - Sales - Online Travel & Tour (2-10 yrs)

The core aim of the company is to provide the travelers with a "hassle-free travel experience across different travel missions", be it Air Travel, Hotel Bookings, Cab Bookings, Travel Packages or even corporate travel missions like MICE etc. Their aim further is to disrupt the market with a complete AI driven approach to the travel cycle. The mission of the company is to make intercity and international travel as easy and convenient as intra-city travel for the customer with a world class travel experience.
They are currently looking for a Holiday Advisor for Online Travel and Tour Company
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement : Interact with potential customers through various channels (phone, email, chat, etc.) and actively engage with them to understand their travel preferences, interests, and requirements.
2. Holiday Planning : Utilize your in-depth knowledge of travel destinations, seasonal trends, and package offerings to design tailored holiday packages that align with each customer's preferences and budget.
3. Itinerary Customization : Create detailed travel itineraries for customers, including accommodation options, transportation arrangements, sightseeing activities, and any additional special requests.
4. Product Knowledge : Stay updated with the latest travel products, promotions, and industry trends to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is provided to customers.
5. Booking Assistance : Guide customers through the booking process, handle reservation confirmations, and coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure a smooth booking experience.
6. Problem Resolution : Address customer queries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, finding effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
7. Upselling and Cross-selling : Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or packages that align with the customer's interests, thereby maximizing revenue.
8. Sales Targets : Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the company.
9. Customer Follow-up : Maintain regular contact with customers to build lasting relationships, gather feedback, and encourage repeat bookings.
10. Collaboration : Work closely with the marketing team to contribute to promotional campaigns, content creation, and social media engagement to attract new customers.
11. Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and bookings in the company's database.
12. Continuous Improvement : Actively participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service capabilities
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in the travel industry or a customer-facing role, such as sales or customer service.
- In-depth knowledge of popular travel destinations, vacation types, and travel related products.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for delivering memorable travel experiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult customer situations with tact and empathy.
- Proficiency in using booking and reservation systems.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours when required.
- Fluency in multiple languages (optional but advantageous).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their use in travel marketing (optional but advantageous).
