HiveMinds - Manager - Social Media Operations (5-10 yrs)
Overview of the Role:
This is an exciting role for someone who is adept at team management, directing operations to achieve business targets within a digital marketing & brand communications agency. The individual will oversee the entire operations of the team, manage growth and success of the team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plans, manages and implements processes and schedules for teams
- Coordinates activities between the account managers, client servicing teams and business unit head
- Work collaboratively with unit heads to ensure campaigns are delivered on time
- Oversees hiring and staffing related tasks in line with the division growth plan
- Assist in interviewing, recruiting and training new employees
- Communicates with team on to ensure delivery timelines are met
- Assists in work allocation and planning ad-hoc task management
- Understands client and project requirements, and enables project teams to deliver client success
- Ensures Daily, Weekly & Monthly project planning and task management on all projects
- Enables escalation handling and reporting of client grievances to the business unit head, and helps teams resolve or find solutions for the same
- Manages people's concerns and resource-related issues
- Maintains detailed schedules of client success initiatives such as client business reviews, escalation trackers, quality check trackers
- Conduct regular employee performance and feedback meetings as well as discussions on issues, concerns and updates
- Maintain clear documentation of Operational Activities
- Guiding project teams to deliver impactful work through sound project management
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work in a Team Environment, and be a team player
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and rigor in planning and meeting internal deadlines
- Ability to oversee team meeting their goals with the right nudge/encouragement
- Leadership Skills, accountability and ownership and enthusiasm to achieve results
- Ability to motivate others and drive collective success
- Has knowledge and context of communications, digital marketing, social media marketing and branding team operations and has experience in a similar role within agency
- Good Excel, PowerPoint Skills
