Sales Application Engineer
- Responsible for inquiry handling & commercial review as per the procedures
- Should have strong client relationship development and management skills
- Coordination with the Pricing/Technical/Legal department to ensure on time review of inquiries & submission of quotations
- Responsible for filling the Work Order Review Sheet with the order details
- Ensure that PO is reviewed & acknowledged by Sales, Technical, Export & Accounts In-Charges & to receive any feedback from them regarding the Order
- Compilation of all the Documents related to the Order and handing over the PO (saving it in the Live Document Controller Folder) for further processing
- Consulting with various Internal Departments(Technical, Design, Purchase, Stores, Accounts, Exports) for any additional confirmations required whether technical/commercial
- When any Commercial/Technical queries are raised by the Client, then forwarding the same to the Concerned Department for their replies
- Maintaining records of CQ' & TQ's from Clients & it's response correspondence in CRM /ERP and established Internal Communication System
- Should have techno - commercial experience
- Should be creative, self - motivated and excellence - driven with an ability to drive a team
- Give strategic guidance to the sales team to establish and meet aggressive targets
- Responsible to convert inquiries in to orders.
- Take ownership of translating customer requirements into winning proposals
- Responsible for meeting annual sales and profit targets.
- All inquiries should be attended on time and ensure quotation should be sent on time.
- Should have impressive personality
- Preference will be given to those with past experience in similar line or related Valves industry.
- Should have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Should have good presentation skill
- Handle meetings with new clients to understand requirements
- Approach the potential customers, understand their requirements
- Should be willing to travel worldwide when required
- Responsible for providing overall Sales strategy.
- Should be responsible for managing Sales operations to increase Business, (globally) and for diversification into new markets.
- Front line communication with Customer
Skills :
Excellent Communication Skills(Oral & written), Good coordination with delegation's skills, Task & Time Management skills, Leadership skills with the ability to work under pressure
Qualifications: BE (Mech.) from Tier-1 Engineering college preferred.
