High Peak Software - Content Writer - B2B SaaS Segment (4-5 yrs)
Job Brief :
We are looking for a talented B2B SaaS content writer/copywriter (4-5 years of experience) to undertake marketing projects for both High Peak and our clients. The themes of the articles include technologies like AI, ML, DL, etc., with a business connotation. You will conduct thorough research on industry-related topics, generate ideas for new content types, and proofread articles before publication. This job is not just restricted to only content writing, however. You will also be expected to broaden your horizon by developing hands-on experience with various marketing activities, such as email marketing, social media activities, and campaigns, SEO, SEM, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
Responsibilities :
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
- Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
- Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
- Submit work to editors for input and approval
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Promote content on social media
- Identify customers- needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
- Update website content as needed
- Conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies
- Organize and oversee advertising/communication campaigns (social media, etc.) and promotional events
- Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness, and competition ventures
- Initiate and control surveys to assess customer requirements and dedication
- Write copy for diverse marketing distributions (brochures, press releases, website material, etc.)
- Maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities
- Monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance
- Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses
Requirements :
- 4-5 years of proven experience as a content writer or similar role
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills are mandatory
- Understanding of technology and ability to communicate various technologies to business people
- Good understanding of market research techniques
- Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices
- Familiarity with social media (especially, FB, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Creativity and commercial awareness
- Portfolio of published articles
- Familiarity with web publications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or any related field (preferred but not mandatory)
