Job Title: - Content Development Specialist

Location: Bangalore

We are looking for a Content Development Specialist to create compelling blog posts, white papers, product descriptions, social media content and web copy. We- re looking for someone who will help us expand our digital footprint and drive more value through online content. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of producing pieces that increase engagement and drive leads. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material. The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines. Preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio, bachelor's degree and relevant work experience

Responsibilities :

- Regularly produce various content types, including email, social media posts, blogs and white papers

- Actively manage and promote our blog, and pitch articles to relevant third-party platforms

- Collaborate with other departments to create innovative content ideas

- Working with a cross departmental team maintain and develop the master content calendar for the blog.

- Copy edit and proofread all web content.

- Keep Current with emerging web technologies through relevant blogs.

- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical/ non technical concepts and make them easily understandable text and - pictures.

- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced deadline driven environment.

- Contemporary writing skills plus thorough knowledge of English language technical/non technical writing or a related field.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism or related field

- Has a history of published content, Ability to write simple and easy to understand content.

- Enjoys breaking down concepts and explaining problems to people.

- Has excellent communication skills and delights in their ability to put words together in an attempt to form meaningful, catchy sentences.

- Can put together a content document from scratch.

- Should be able to rephrase existing content to avoid duplicate content and plagiarism.

- Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively

- The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines

- Experience using WordPress, Weebly, and/or Joomla! preferred
