Job Profile :

We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to drive the B2B veterinary business for Heads Up For Tails across the North and West regions/Southern region in India, focusing on building and nurturing relationships with veterinary clinics, hospitals, and distributors. This role requires a seasoned B2B sales professional who can independently manage a large territory, strategically grow our market share, and strengthen our brand presence among veterinary service providers.

You will be responsible for generating leads, developing account strategies, and converting business prospects into long-term clients. The ideal candidate will have a track record in B2B sales, preferably in the pet care, animal nutrition, or FMCG sectors, with a keen understanding of the unique demands of veterinary customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Account Management: Develop, maintain, and deepen relationships with key decision-makers at veterinary clinics, hospitals, and distributors across the North and West regions.

- Market Expansion: Identify and target new business opportunities within the veterinary space, employing a consultative approach to introduce product solutions that meet client needs.

- Sales Planning & Execution: Implement sales strategies tailored to the unique characteristics of the territory, aiming to exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and customer feedback to inform and adjust sales strategies as needed.

- Travel & Client Engagement: Conduct regular in-person meetings across your territory, with travel requirements of 7-10 days per month to build trust and secure commitment from clients.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure alignment on product positioning, promotional campaigns, and client needs.

Qualifications & Requirements :

- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within pet care, animal nutrition, or FMCG industries.

- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets with a strong background in territory management.

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage key stakeholders.

- Highly organized, strategic thinker with a proactive approach to managing multiple clients and opportunities.

- Willingness to travel 7-10 days per month within the North and West regions in India.
