Head/Vice President - Business Development - Education (5-10 yrs)
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company goals and revenue targets.
- Identify potential clients in the corporate and education sectors and foster strong relationships to drive business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and industry trends.
- Lead negotiations and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Marketing Initiatives:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective marketing campaigns and promotional materials to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Utilize various marketing channels, including digital platforms and events, to reach potential clients and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Analyze marketing data and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions for improvement.
Team Onboarding and Management:
- Work closely with the HR team to recruit, onboard, and train a high-performing sales team.
Provide guidance, coaching, and ongoing support to the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, providing constructive feedback and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and address any concerns.
- Conduct regular client meetings to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Government Projects:
- Leverage existing experience and networks to identify and participate in government projects related to Assessment Services.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with government requirements.
Assessment Planning & Execution
- Delivering the various Assessment Services within the defined SLAs. Maintaining service excellence by adhering to the SOPs and by maintaining Quality Assurance.
- Collaborating with the Assessment partners to create the Blueprints for all the
- Assessments which include- Competency Based Tests, Customized Skill Assessments as per the requirement, Behavioral Assessments, Leadership Assessment etc.
- Ensuring Assessment policies as laid down by the Assessment Center
- Cost & Budgeting of all Assessment Models
- Gathering market information, Creating, and maintaining reports on Market Info
Skill Availability, Companies & Industrial Mapping :
- Responsible for handling and building client relationships facilitating Psychometric
- Assessment business from client development to deployment. Responsible for client acquisitions for respective domain, as well to achieve the target independently or with a team.
- Should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, Ability to work under pressure and should be adaptable to flexible working situations.
- Ability to strike conversation and build rapport with clients to develop and manage sales opportunities from beginning to end including job specification.
- Meet required sales activity metrics on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Managing affiliations & business with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), National Skill Development Agency (NSDA) & respective Sector Skill Councils
