Head - Social Media & Digital Marketing - Education (4-6 yrs)
- Be the lead marketing anchor for initiatives in this market. Establish and drive marketing plan aligned to GTM initiatives, work with senior business stakeholders, set the marketing budget & goals, create world-class marketing campaigns and report ROI - ensuring (positioning/demand creation) effectiveness of campaigns in the Global market).
- Work with key leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment with Business Plans.
- Design and deliver on marketing services portfolio for key segments and initiatives in partnership with onshore peers.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Mentor and lead a team of demand generation and social media professionals
2. Develop and implement a clear social media strategy to substantially increase the social media following and thus increasing the visibility of the brands
3. To work with the marketing production team to deliver on marketing requirements
4. Coordinate activities leading to visual identity creation
5. Day-to-day management of social media channels and their communities (including and not limited to, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Google+, etc.) with a consistent on-brand tone of voice and strategic overview tailored to each brand.
6. Create, curate and manage all published content (image, video, and text).
7. Design, create and manage promotions and social media ad campaigns.
8. Provide day to day delivery support to Business leaders on the execution of assignments and tasks.
9. Provide competitive intelligence and should be capable of analyzing data in order to validate content.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
1. Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
2. Develop and execute crisis management strategies.
3. Develop lead/demand generation strategies through social media and execute accordingly
4. Creative flair and enthusiasm for new ideas and concepts
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
1. Excellent analytical skills.
2. Excellent team management skills
3. Strong technical understanding and knowledge of social media reporting tools.
4. Hands-on experience of tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite and buffer
5. Creative flair in thoughts and concepts of social media
