Position: Social Media Head
Reporting to: AVP / VP
Education: Graduate / Postgraduate in relevant field
Experience: 5+ yrs
JOB PURPOSE
To lead a social media team to create innovative social media campaigns in order to boost clients visibility and involves in managing a clients- online presence by developing a strategy, producing good content, analysing usage data, facilitating customer service and managing projects and campaigns.
Strategy
- Create social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules
- Set specific objectives and report on ROI
- Provides training and guidance to social media and marketing team members on social media implementation best practices and strategies
- Collects customer data and analyses interactions and visits, plus use this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future Social Media Marketing strategies and campaigns
Client Relationship Management
- Manage overall agency /client relationship providing strategic input while guiding teams towards the achievement of client objectives
- Build teams, think strategically and develop successful client-agency relationships
- Establish rapport and maintain long-term relationships with client and internal teams
- Implement Social Media Marketing best practices that result in customer acquisition, retention and growth
SEO & Social Media Administration
- Oversee Social Media Content Creation and Administration
- Accountable for website growth vis-a-vis using Google Analytics & Google Webmaster and give constant feedback to the team
- Guide the team in research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
- Oversee editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
- Oversee and administer operations and analyzing social metrics, reporting and sharing the same with the client
- Monitoring social media trends and making an effective content plans for coming months and quarter
- Review team reports and report progress to top management
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
Team Management
- Should have the ability to effectively and efficiently manage a large team
- Ensure minimal attrition & Interteam conflict
- Conduct regular meetings and ensure seamless execution
- Provide thorough training to the team members; mentor and guide them on regular basis
- Create strong back-ups within the department
Other desired skills :
- Deep Understanding of Technology Behind Search Engine, Google Webmaster Guidelines, Search Friendly Websites, Google Penalties & Recovery and Photoshop
- Knowledge of ON Page & OFF Page activities, SEO, search engine optimization and factors that influence high rankings in Google
- Ability to specify technical changes to technical/development teams
- Well Versed with web analytics and presentation tools
- Knowledge of Tech Tools : Firebug, Webmaster, Hootsuite, Yoono, Google Page Speed, GTMetrix, Alexa, Google Keyword Planner
- Pro Active in Social Media and Community engagement
