Head - Social Media (4-10 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage everyday operations of the social media team and ensure optimum delivery, quality and timelines
- Work closely with the leading social media platforms to identify growth and brand awareness opportunities
- Work closely with the marketing team for films and EN to meet awareness and conversion objectives
- Work with external film partners, talent and internal marketing and PR teams for film marketing on social media
- Identify and build relationships with digital media partners for co-promotional tie ups
- Support the marketing and partnerships teas in achieving promotional objectives via social media
- Work closely with the content team for launching assets to meet the desired reach and engagement levels
- Deep dive into analytics to identify growth and opportunity areas across platforms
- Monitor, review and report user growth from all platforms on an ongoing basis and generate reports for the management
- Work closely with the digital media buying team/ agency to enhance performance marketing for user acquisition and quality of user engagement
- Liaison with the design team for creative development
- Develop a channel and process for addressing customer feedback and complains via social media. Develop SLA's and an escalation matrix with the support team.
- Suggest page enhancements and improvisations that could impact user experience, retention and acquisition
- Introduce global best practices and lead by example for innovations and campaigns
Key Performance Indicators :
- User/fan and subscriber growth achieved
- Adoption of new technologies, tools and features.
- Number Innovative ideas executed and gone viral
- Growth in user engagement and retention ratios
Skills/Educational qualification required :
- Preferably an MBA from a reputed institute
- Must be proficient in MS word, Power-point and Excel
- Must have in-depth working knowledge of various social media platforms, dashboards, intelligence & listening tools and analytics
Professional experience required :
Total experience: 4-10 years
Industry/Role experience :
- Minimum 3-10 years of relevant work experience in digital marketing and social media management and media buying
- Should have worked with consumer brands and social media agencies
- Should have led a team of social media personnel and engaged with creative, content and media buying teams
- Should have good understanding of brand building via social media & communication
- Should have been in a target oriented role to achieve numbers
