Experience :
- 7-10 years experience in SEO
- Demonstrable Director level SEO and commercial experience.
- Experience of large budget SEO management with targets in agency and previous companies.
- Lead or set up SEO team of more than 10 people
- Team management experience of more than 5 years.
- Prefer experience in lead generation industries such as insurance, mortgage, real estate, banking, credit card, classifieds or gambling, travel, ecommerce etc.
- Experience in selling product in multiple territories with multi lingual sites.
- Experience in migrating processes.
Role Demension :
We are setting up a new digital marketing team in Hyderabad and you will be among the first employee. As a Head Of SEO this is a unique opportunity to set up SEO channel for specific brands of Global University Systems.
The candidate will be responsible for Search Engine Optimization strategy and delivery. The candidate will utilise their existing skills and experience to guide their team to deliver industry-leading service.
Reporting to Client Services Director - Digital Marketing, and working with Paid Media, Analytics, CRM and brand teams you will be the key member responsible in setting up a successful SEO channel.
Major Roles & Responsibilities :
- Work closely with the Client Services Director - Digital Marketing
- Ensure top line visibility to management of the SEO team and performance.
- Hire, setup and train SEO team along with the SEO manager to deliver SEO services.
- Create a learning environment, training modules, reviews, and appraisals.
- Define SEO strategy and roadmap for each brand and ensure implementation.
- Own the SEO targets, planning, budget and resource forecasting.
- Point of contact for brand owners including escalation of issues within the SEO Team
- Identification of potential risks in SEO strategies and future proofing
- Perform regular multi-channel Integrated analysis (traffic, conversion, market share, ranking)
- CRO & UX - understanding of methods, tools and implementation.
- Implement advanced analytics (event tracking, consumer action tracking, attribution)
- Recommend tools and technical stack to ensure we are the leaders in SEO and team's have sufficient tools and support to make it happen.
- Ensure documentation (playbook) of SEO best practices, process and delivery modules.
- Reduce dependency on technical team.
Collaborate with Head of Paid Media, Head of Online Partnerships, Head of CRM, Head of Analytics, technical team and brand teams to deliver success for our ever increasing portfolio of international brands.

- Confidence to liaise with globally based marketing directors and brand managers.
- Confidence to operate with limited direction and to deliver consistently.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and deal diplomatically with stakeholders
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Exceptionable crisis SEO management skills
- Understanding of core web technologies, such as HTML, PHP, .NET, CSS, JavaScript.
- Hands on knowledge of Google Analytics or other Web Analytics packages.
- Proven knowledge of the various Google's algorithms changes, penalisations and new procedures.
- Proficent in use of the main SEO tools, Screamingfrog, Searchmetrics, Moz, Majestic SEO, Ahref, Linkdex
- Knowledge of coding.
Excellent standard of written and verbal English
Desirable :
- Knowledge of a highly regulated industry
