SEO Head

We are looking for a SEO Head for leading dgital sports application.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in SEO Field (Candidates with 1+ year experience in News/Media Industry are preferred)

- Experience in managing a team of SEO Specialists

- Solid understanding of Basic & Advanced SEO Techniques, and well versed with On-Page, Off-Page & Site Level SEO techniques

- Strong with numbers, using Google Analytics & Search Console as well as other SEO tools to derive key action items from the data

- Excellent Communication Skills

- Interested in Sports, Regularly following the sports news & updates

Responsibilities

- Responsible for overall organic traffic growth of the organization on a global scale focusing on developed countries like the US, UK & EU.

- Responsible for creating SEO strategies, identifying growth opportunities & areas of improvements

- Technical Website Audit to find and rectify issues on the website

- Performing competitive analysis to identify missing opportunities & drive growth

- Working closely with the tech team to fix the technical issues of the website, ability to plan and prioritize the tasks

- Working closely with the content team to ensure all content are well optimized before publishing

- Identifying and improving website crawling and indexing, page speed, user experience & mobile-friendliness

- Responsible for managing a team of SEO specialists & Freelancers to ensure smooth execution of Content & SEO strategy.

- Implement various off-page strategy to improve website credibility & visibility in search

- Understanding & Implementation of various Media Specific SEO techniques like News SEO, Video Sitemaps & Various type of content schema

- Responsible for understanding the trending content using various analysis & creating the content in a timely manner.

Salary: INR 15,00,000 - 25,00,000 PA.
