Head - Sales - Travel Package (12-20 yrs)
The purpose of the role of Head of Holidays is to develop and lead the delivery of our holiday strategy. Managing key stakeholder relationships will be vital, ensuring we are getting value for money from our third-party partnerships and supporting our teams throughout the customer journey to deliver an enhanced customer experience. The incumbent will be responsible to manage the entire product life cycle for Holidays from planning to execution.
Duties & Responsibilities:-
- Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to execution.
- Contracting with the international supplier and handle end to end Product delivery.
- Designing and pricing various itineraries (FIT/GIT) in different budget categories
- Create travel products based on current market requirements, consumer preference, Local Holidays, Travel preference and theme based products.
- Manage costs through innovative contracting through effective negotiation.
- Create product awareness among the sales team and support them to sell the holiday product.
- Build and Maintain excellent relations with the suppliers across the products.
- Ensure inventory of various products is available for the team to sell.
- Develop packages as per the current market requirements by looking at the competition.
- Create a Marketing plan to promote destinations working in sync with Marketing.
- Effective Marketing Plan, to Increase Sales of the packages/Destinations.
- Responsible for building healthy relationships with customers and initiating customer engagement activities
- Conduct interviews to recruit holiday consultants
- Work with training and performance management division to make sure career progression is done
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the P&L of holiday division
- Responsible to manage revenue by taking pricing decisions and analyzing previous revenue/sales data.
Deliverables:-
Product: Develop exceptional competitive and unique holiday packages to the target market and purchase regular inventory to cater to the divisional plans.
Manpower : Develop the required amount of holiday consultants as per plan to deliver the planned divisional growth.
Leads : Liaise with the marketing team to ensure leads are delivered as per plans and strategies are in place to meet the demand for leads as per the divisional plan.
Customer experience : Liaise with operations and customer experience to deliver WOW factor in customer experience from a product perspective
