Head - Sales - Retail (10-15 yrs)
We are looking to hire Head - Retail sales with minimum 10 years of experience handing sales, marketing, operations of Retail business in segments such as FMCG, Mobile Accessories, IT, Consumer Electronics, Pharmaceutical, etc.
Job Description:
- To head the complete sales and marketing of our entire range of Products in India for the Retail Business Unit of the Company.
- To create a regional sales team, develop a strategic road map and monitor the goals & milestones set for the team.
- Develop and build healthy relationships with key account decision makers in Modern Trade and General Trade.
- Should have proven capability in generation of a 100 Crore business for any brand / product handled by them in the recent past.
- Take full responsibility for the operations of the assigned business unit, including profitability, budgeting and cost monitoring.
- Be responsible for hiring, training, leading and monitoring the efficiency and productivity of a large field sales force.
Skill Set Required:
- Excellent planning and organizing skills.
- Ability to forecast future sales trends and devise innovative sales strategies.
- Ability to motivate, guide and lead the sales teams and help them to achieve their goals. This would include the ability to play the role of a mentor.
- Strong financial / business acumen.
- Ability to develop relationships at all levels of customer organization.
- Excellent written, communication, interpersonal and liaison skills with the ability to lead a multi-cultural and multi-lingual work force.
- Confident of working in a model with moderate fixed remuneration and a very aggressive variable incentive based remuneration.
