Head - Sales - Pharma (10-20 yrs)
- Full responsibility of sales and profit for India operations
- Direct and manage all sales related activities including: sales channel development, setting up dealer network, business promotion campaigns, acquisition of new customers, key accounts management, customer relations and channel management.
- Advise management on local operations planning including setting up & implementing clear guidelines, forecasting & assessing future potential business and goal setting.
- Create and maintain new business opportunities inside and outside the regular sales channels.
- Development of marketing and sales strategies to achieve substantial growth for India operation.
- To lead, guide and motivate sales team to achieve the specific targets.
- Development and expansion of the business of company through dealers, homeopathic clinics, homeopathic doctors and representatives.
- Maintain strong and effective professional relations with the German Management team.
- Manage sales activities with respect to numbers, clarity on scope of supply target in maximum level of customer satisfaction while achieving maximum profit margins of company.
- Coordinate Training and Application, lead the team and develop the skills of individual team members.
- Conclude agreements/contracts with key customers.
- Establish and maintain relationship within local industry associations.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Science or Engineering / preferably with Management Qualification or MBA.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales management .Preferably from the homeopathy and related industries.
- Self-motivated professional with systematic work style & experience in performance management and team management.
- Proven track record with full sales and profit responsibility at national/regional level and experience in achieving substantial sales through dealer network.
- Knowledge of Hindi / local regional language is essential.
Must be willing to travel frequently on PAN India basis.
- Good knowledge of homeopathy industry, related market players and setting up dealers network.
- Experience/knowledge in handling logistics, inventory, imports, warehouse requirements, shipments, customs & tax related matters.
- Mature personality with good knowledge & understanding of price and market conditions including: competitor activities.
- Computer savvy with required proficiency in IT, MS Office applications to create reports, documentation as defined by the management.
